Well done to all the walkers and walk leaders who have completed the All Wales Coastal Path in the counties of Flint and Denbigh.

All the walks were achieved solely with the aid of public transport with all walks "starting" from Mold bus depot.

There's only another 800 miles to go and a gentle walk back from Chepstow via Offa's Dyke path!!

Congratulations to all involved.

 

Walk 1: Chester to Queensferry a distance of 4.5 miles along the banks of the River Dee.

Started at Top Farm Bumpers Lane and ended at The Blue Bridge in Queensferry. 18 walkers took part.

Bus route used was no.6 from Mold.

 

 Walk 2: started at Queensferry Blue Bridge and ended at Flint Castle a distance of 6 miles along the

River Dee.

20 walkers took part.

This time bus routes 6 and 28 were used.

 

Walk 3: 5.5 mile walk from Flint Castle to Greenfield Docks.

26 walkers took part.

Bus routes 28 and X11 used. 

 

Walk 4: from Greenfield to Ffynnongroyw was a distance of 5 miles.

Partly along the River Dee but also along ther main A548 coast road . 23 walkers took part.

Bus routes 126 and 11 used

 

Walk 5: from Ffynnongrowy to Gronant which is a distance of 5 miles.

18 walkers took part.

Bus routes 126 and 11 used. 

 

Walk 6: from Gronant to Rhyl is 7 miles.

Walk ended at the Foryd Bridge in Rhyl. 16 walkers took part.

Bus routes nos. 126 and 11 and 28 used.
